Winemaker Notes

Grapes were fermented in open top stainless vats. After primary ferment the wines underwent full malolactic fermentation in barrels.

Viticulture Notes

Merlot was was harvested in excellent condition from a Hamish Jackson’s Patutahi vineyard in Brunton Road. Montepulciano was harvest with good ripeness from Tim Egan’s vineyard near Makaraka, Gisborne.
