Both the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were fermented separately in stainless steel under temperature control. The wines were blended to produce a fresh clean sparkling wine.
Pinot Noir was harvested in 2016 in excellent condition from BC Tietjen’s vineyard in Bushmere Road, Gisborne. Chardonnay was from a number of harvests in between 2013 and 2016.
